Health and detoxification is a very depressing process and subject, if I may say… I often try to chose meats and veggies that are meant to enjoy and the fact that they are good for you is merely secondary.
What is good for humans? I suppose, it’s a combination of somebody too nobody, including exercises. So, off I go for an acrobatic pose.
They called me Pinky, instead of my name Phoebe. I was a fragile little girl in an immature body. I was perhaps four years old. One day I became so ill, that I started to hallucinate. My care-giver couldn’t figure it out that my fever was way too high for the sake of it. I stated to sing this favorite Sunday school song. Goodbye, goodbye to you, goodby to you, until another sabbath, I say goodbye to you. After that crumbling episode imagine how scared I was to her. My grandmother stepped in and asked me a simple question, are you leaving, are you dying and a simple word must have brought me back to life.
Today, I worked on my flavors. Home Baked biscuits with store bought Tomato Pesto.
Mind you, these are all new foods that I am testing to see how life can be, feeling upright. Not bad, but for me, I am trying to discover my intolerances to foods I like to eat. I guess I’ll give a better verdict overnight. Off to discover another flavor 🙂
Hello to all, my posting has been irregular for sometime now, I have been going through stuff. Hopefully, I am back to posting for good.
Sometimes, people become ill because they avoid eating. They may do so because they have feared of becoming fat, or the opposite. Perhaps, this was my case and nobody suspects. What are eating disorders? For example, either you eat too much or too little, then make one selves sick. As I have mentioned in my previous posting, I do suffer from cervical stenosis that occurs in my neck. This, if I may say, may have added to my hectic journey.
Special diets may impose for certain of us. Let’s say, when someone suffers from diabetes, one must limit the amount of sugar they eat. Others may suffer from allergic reactions to certain foods such as peanuts, milk, wheat, eggs and so avoid them. I know, this can limit the engagements of foods we eat.
Today, phoebesJourney will be focusing much on her healthy lifestyle and sharing much of the foods she tends to prepare right here in her kitchen. 🙂
